Since the beginning of the 2010s, i have been regularly invited to work in art schools, universities, or independent venues for workshops or lectures.
As a guest artist, i've been invited to ESAD Grenoble, ENS Louis-Lumière in Saint-Denis, Paris III-La Sorbonne, Beaux-Arts de Marseille, ISBA Besançon, ENSPAC Cergy, TALM Le Mans, ESAB Pau/Tarbes, École d’Art de Belfort, Seoul Street Art Creation Center, ACSR in Brussels and, from 2016 to 2020, at Paris 8-Saint Denis Uninversity, in the Art department as a part-time teaching fellow for 2st and 2nd years.
Tailored to each situations, my interventions are about sound arts and radioart, and can include theoretical, aesthetical and practical aspects. They are always about confronting with techniques and technologies, electronic or digital instruments for composition and sound work, but also confronting with terrains - in a topographical, social, and political sense - with sound recording or transmission.
The act of recording, at the nexus of electroacoustic studio work and field-recording, is central to that approach, as well as radio transmission and the building of transmitters such as those invented by Tetsuo Kogawa.
Some workshops were dedicated to public creations, for example:
The Radio Party organized as part of the Sonic Protest Festival in 2019, with students from ENSPAC Cergy, in collaboration with π-Node, UV Éditions, and Tetsuo Kogawa.
The performance 나 는 섬이다 (I am an island), in 2019 also, watch the video here, the result of a composition workshop for public spaces in Seoul, with students from SSAC and in collaboration with Ici-Même, as part of the Seoul Street Art Festival.
