La F de B

studio works - 2010~

Over the years, my activity as a sound artist, electroacoustic composer, sound recordist, sound mixer for movies, general sound geek, sound technician and mastering engineer trained at INA has conducted me to build up a work environment that is altogether versatile and singular, and which i regularly put to work for others' projects.

In addition to my post-production work for documentary movies and audio and visual productions of contemporary arts, i have been hosting musical projects in my studio for mixing and mastering. This activity is not at all driven by commercial interests (i only work for projects i appreciate and the fee, if one is possible, is determined by the economical reality of the project), but rather by the desire to share resources, listening, and some ability to promote experimental musics and sound arts.

I've had the occasion and priviledge to work on sounds by *Thierry Monnier, Sun Stabbed, La Morte Young, Antony Milton, Nina Garcia & Camille Émaille, Manuel Scalora, Dispute, Feral Bands, Æther Varia, FANT^MS, Bruce Russel, Peter Wright, micro~taskers, Sourdure, Cathy Heyden, Frédéric Nogray, Yannick Dauby, Ici-Même, Jef Klak, David Weber-Krebs, François Martig & Philippe Petitgenêt, Cawa Sorix, Michael Northam & Seijiro Murayama, Éric Cordier and many others… to make CDs, vinyls (with premasters for factories or in connection with lacquer engineers like Frédéric Alstadt in Brussels or Hervé De Keroullias in Paris), cassettes (duplicating at Four4** in Grenoble), online formats or installations/site-specific projects.

At a rather slow pace, La F de B - the name comes from La Fabrique de Briques (the brick factory), a squat from a long time ago in Grenoble, where the construction of a studio started with scraps - is devoted to make experimental and noise musics sound good too. Even if i cannot answer favorably to everything, requests are always welcome.
