Gruppo Petrolio is the title of a 19-part film series by Lili Reynaud-Dewar, filmed in 2021 and 2022 with several groups of art students, and which has led to several exhibitions at MO.CO (Montpellier), Bergen Assembly (Bergen), and Palais de Tokyo (Paris).
Produced as a collective, inspired by the book Oil by Pier Paolo Pasolini, this film explores the harmful effects of the oil industry, technological progress, and gentrification, and questions the value of artistic production in the face of political activism.
