Invented in New York's underground clubs in the 1980s, voguing has allowed Black, Latino, and LGBT+ communities to assert themselves and confront the outside world. Lasseindra Ninja is now an essential icon of this dance. After a ten-year absence, she returns to her native French Guiana to train young dancers. By transmitting a mindset and an attitude based on self-affirmation, she gives them the tools to resist the hostility of the world around them. A dance that signals the time of revolt.
